Newsbrief: Following a recent announcement regarding its acquisition of rival publisher Com2uS, Korean mobile publisher Gamevil today announced its acquisition of mobile developer Nine Wheels, as well as equity investments in Everple and DBros.

The moves represent the latest stride in Gamevil's global expansion strategy. Nine Wheels is well-known as the developer behind social city-building game Grape Valley, while Everple and DBros are known for social titles Monster Warlord and Ocean Tales, respectively.

"We're fortunate to have partnered with such a large and expanding mobile games publisher," Nine Wheels CEO Young Sun Kim said in a statement.
