(GDC), the brand new App Developers Conference (ADC) offers professionals a venue to share their knowledge about building, designing, marketing, and selling their apps. ADC will run November 5th-7th at the Los Angeles Convention Center and will be co-located with GDC Next

Track at GDC Next will discuss top methods for learning with apps, whether it be for small children, teenagers, or even adults. Notable talks in this area will include the following:
EA founder and now If You Can Company CEO Trip Hawkins will reveal his educational service for preteen children that offers regular new monthly content via interactive stories and curricula delivered through blended gameplay and role-playing in 'Revolutionary Bedfellows: IF Teachers and Game Mechanics Unite to Innovate.'
Animoca (Pretty Pet
series) director of strategic initiatives Henry Oh will give an overview of what you need to know to bring your app into compliance with the newly-passed Children's Online Privacy Protection Act in 'A Guide To Complying With COPPA's New Privacy Rules.'
Also, digital entertainment studio Dreamkind president Jay Schiffman (whose past clients include Disney and Nickelodeon) will help developers make strategic product and marketing decisions that will help their apps stand out against powerful kids' brands in 'Building a Successful Educational App for Kids....With or Without Elmo.'
