Cross-platform development tools company Marmalade today launched a new publishing division, through which it will aim to provide studios with the means to market their mobile games more easily across multiple app stores.
Developers who join the Marmalade Play program will receive access to the Marmalade SDK licence, visibility on partner stores, and help with design and monetization of titles. All the details can be found on the official website
Notably, Activision is helping to promote the launch by licensing out its brands for a couple of mobile game releases. Blur Overdrive
and The Activision Decathlon
will launch on Android later today, and on iOS on November 1, through the Marmalade Play publishing campaign.
