Polytron Corporation announced this morning that Fez has sold over 1 million copies across all platforms, including Xbox Live, PSN, and Mac/PC.

The news came via a blog post on the Polytron website. Choice quotes include "We couldn't have done it without you!", "Thank you for buying the game! Thank you for stealing it!" and "Thank you for putting up with the bullshit!"

No further information about what this might mean for the future of Polytron was given -- Fish said earlier this year that he was leaving game development and stopping work on a Fez sequel. Both Fish and programmer Renaud Bedard seem to be focusing on other interests after working together on Fez.
