Newsbrief: Off the back of a new global mobile publishing strategy, Chinese mobile game publisher Yodo1 has raised $11 million in funding, and opened a new production studio.

The company plans to use this new burst of financing to help strengthen its core business, focusing initially on helping Western developers crack the Japanese and Korean Android markets.

As part of this expansion, the company has founded a new studio in Seoul, which will help extends its co-production publishing efforts in the Korean market. Yodo1 has now raised $18 million since its founding in 2011.
