I'm very disappointed that Gamasutra thought this was a researched-enough story to post.

This is very clearly caused because the game was a digital game being played on a guest system. This is not some secret, hidden functionality. This is publicly documented functionality for what happens in this situation.

It is the exact same functionality you also see on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 4 when playing digital games on the non-primary system.

I seriously cannot believe that Gamasutra would run a baseless story from FGCNN. Even if someone isn't already familiar with how terrible FGCNN is, isn't it blatantly obvious from the tone of their article?
