If you ever wanted to hear Warren Spector talk frankly about crates and why meaningful consequences valuable tool for influencing player behavior, NYU has a video for you.

The designer of Deus Ex (among other things) was one of many notable lecturers at New York University's PRACTICE 2013 conference.

The conference, which has been held annually since its debut in November of 2011, brings together recognized and rising talent in the industry to share knowledge about how to best tackle the day-to-day challenges of game design.
