According to a new report from SuperData Research, consumer spending in the Chinese mobile games market will overtake the U.S. market next year, potentially making Android game development all the more relevant.

The Chinese mobile games market will reach $3 billion during this fiscal year, claims the report, while the U.S. market will reach $3.2 billion. However, the Chinese market is expanding much more rapidly than its U.S. counterpart, and will overtake it next year.

This rapid growth in China is mainly down to the availability of increasingly affordable Android devices, says SuperData, with iOS not dominating the Chinese market as much as in the U.S.

A number of the larger mobile developers have already begun to take this trend into account, including Candy Crush Saga's King who announced a partnership with Tencent last month.

Topple:
1. overbalance or become unsteady and fall slowly.
2. cause to become unsteady and fall.

Maybe you meant "top"? Otherwise, it may be necessary to explain how making more money in China will cause a decrease in making money elsewhere.

Hey Paul, "topple" can also be used to mean removing someone or something from the top spot. The U.S. mobile games market is currently the largest in the world, hence why the Chinese market is about to topple it.
