Newsbrief: The success of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn continues to surprise publisher Square Enix, as the company today said that it has upped its forecasted revenues and profits for the last fiscal year thanks to A Realm Reborn's sales.

Square Enix has been having a decent year since A Realm Reborn launched on PC last year, and with the company's full year financials looming, Square Enix has now increased its projected earnings.

For the fiscal year ended March 31, 3014, Square Enix is now forecasting revenues of 155 billion yen ($1.5 billion), up around 8 percent on its original forecast, and profits of 6.6 billion yen ($64.9 million), up around 50 percent compared to the previous range of forecasts.
