May 30, 2014 | By Mike Rose

Newsbrief: YoYo Games today announced the launch of GameMaker: Studio version 1.3, a free update that includes lots of new features, including the possibility of exporting your GameMaker project to PlayStation 4 or PS Vita.

The 2D game development environment has received an all-new debugger that includes full-source level debugging, break points and watch windows. It also now targets cross-platform support, meaning you can remote debug Mac, Android and iOS projects.

Elsewhere there's a new Flash asset importer, true type fonts, integration of push notifications for Android, iOS and Tizen platforms, and the added ability to visualize assets imported from Flash or Spine.

You can find all the details of this latest update spread across two pages, here and here.
