Newsbrief: The final version of the Raspberry Pi, the cheap and tiny computer that aims to teach programming to students, has now been released.

The Raspberry Pi B+ incorporates the numerous small improvements that many Pi users have been asking for, including more USB ports, a micro SD slot, and lower power consumption.

The B+ is now available for $35, the same price as the original model (which will also stay in stock for those who wish to purchase the original instead). More information is available at the Raspberry Pi blog.

I really should grab a Raspberry Pi one of these days. Actually my older brother and I were talking about a super computer made of something like 20 Raspberry Pi's, it just goes to show what this little board is capable of :)

This type of 'computer' should be the norm in our grade schools now days, not corporate-locked-in-appliances.
