veterans -- writer Marianne Krawczyk and Sony Santa Monica production manager Whitney Wade -- are teaming up to teach a course
in UCLA's Professional Programs series.
The course, called "Interactivity: A Course in Video Game Design and Development," aims to teach attendees the ins and outs of the game development process from a creative and production standpoint, and leave them with a greenlight pitch as the final product.
UCLA's Professional Programs are graduate-level, non-credit courses aimed at professional development. Krawczyk and Wade's class will begin on September 30
, with an application deadline of September 2.
For more from Krawczyk, Ubisoft writer Richard Dansky recently published an interview
with her on Gamasutra blogs. Interested in Wade? She co-wrote a postmortem
for God of War: Ascension
