Fallout 3 Takes Home Top Nods In GameFly Q Awards

Video game rental service GameFly announced the winners of its sixth annual Q Awards, named after the GameQ wishlists that subscribers use to manage their rentals.

GameFly members submitted over 100,000 votes and chose Bethesda Softworks' multiplatform first-person action role-playing game Fallout 3 as both the overall game of the year and the Xbox 360 game of the year.

The full list of Q Awards winners follows:

Overall Game Of The Year - Fallout 3 (Bethesda Softworks)
PlayStation 3 Game Of The Year - Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Konami)
PlayStation 2 Game Of The Year - Kingdom Hearts: Re-Chain of Memories (Square-Enix)
PSP Game Of The Year - God of War: Chains of Olympus (Sony Computer Entertainment)
Xbox 360 Game Of The Year - Fallout 3 (Bethesda Softworks)
Wii Game Of The Year - Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo)
Nintendo DS Game Of The Year - Final Fantasy IV (Square-Enix)

"2008 was one of the most successful years in the gaming industry with many noteworthy titles," says GameFly's co-founder and SVP of business development Sean Spector.

"Through the Q Awards, the GameFly community recognized the top games from a diverse group of publishers. We appreciate and thank our community for participating in the Sixth Annual Q Awards and we look forward to continuing to bring them the most sought after titles."
