Devs team up with Humble Bundle for anti-Ebola charity game jam

November 26, 2014 | By Alex Wawro

A group of ten high-profile developers are going to spend the next few days livestreaming their participation in Games Against Ebola, a 96-hour game jam intended to raise money to help support humanitarian efforts against Ebola.

Participating developers include Mojang (Minecraft), Coffee Stain Studios (Goat Simulator) Glitchnap (LAZA KNITEZ!!) and Rymdkapsel creator Martin Jonasson. They'll be working from today through Sunday to make games around the theme of 'healing', then selling those games as a Humble Bundle and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to humanitarian nonprofit Direct Relief.

It's a noble effort that hearkens back to Mojang's previous work with other members of the developer community and Humble Bundle organizers to game jam for charity. You can keep an eye on their latest effort and pay what you want for the upcoming jam game bundle over on the Games Against Ebola Humble Bundle page.
