A group of ten high-profile developers are going to spend the next few days livestreaming their participation in Games Against Ebola
, a 96-hour game jam intended to raise money to help support humanitarian efforts against Ebola.
Participating developers include Mojang (Minecraft
), Coffee Stain Studios (Goat Simulator
) Glitchnap (LAZA KNITEZ!!
) and Rymdkapsel
creator Martin Jonasson. They'll be working from today through Sunday to make games around the theme of 'healing', then selling those games as a Humble Bundle and donating 100 percent of the proceeds to humanitarian nonprofit Direct Relief.
It's a noble effort that hearkens back to Mojang's previous work with other members of the developer community and Humble Bundle organizers to game jam for charity
. You can keep an eye on their latest effort and pay what you want for the upcoming jam game bundle over on the Games Against Ebola Humble Bundle page
