Trion World Network says it'll show its first project, a fantasy MMO called Heroes of Telara, at E3 this year.
It's the first naming of an in-house title since the privately-held company -- which boasts more than $100 million in backing -- first unveiled itself in 2006. The company's goal is to offer multiple titles on its broadband platform, the Trion World Network, as individual "channels."
Few details are yet available on Heroes of Telara, but Trion says "players are challenged to conquer the unknown in an epic, ever-changing world."
Notably, just a few weeks ago, it was reported that Trion co-founder and former creative director on the project, Might and Magic creator Jon Van Caneghem, exited the company.
"Trion is excited to share what we have been working on and to reveal the universe of Heroes of Telara," says Russ Brown, Trion's vice president of Channel One. "The team is producing a magnificent new universe in which players can immerse themselves in endless adventure."
