Sony Adds 80 GB Infamous PS3 Bundle In UK

In an indication of the game's importance, Sony is bundling PS3-exclusive action title Infamous with the 80 GB PlayStation 3 in a special hardware bundle, thus far confirmed for the United Kingdom.
The bundle has been confirmed via an Amazon.co.uk listing, with the 80 GB hard drive-including PS3 and a copy of the Sucker Punch-developed title for an RRP of UKP299 ($476), with Amazon selling the package at a slight discount.
The long-in-development title from the Sly Cooper creators is notable for being one of the only debut original IP titles on the list of 20 most-anticipated PS3 games recently provided to Gamasutra by OTX Research.
An Infamous demo was recently released onto PlayStation Network and garnered a favorable response. The sandbox-style title features an electrically-powered superhero character and 'good/bad' morality-based mission choices.
The game itself is scheduled to release May 26th in the U.S. and May 29th in Europe, and the UK Infamous bundle -- which is priced similarly to an 80 GB PS3 without any bundled games in the UK -- will debut on the same day as the game.
