XaitEngine AI Solution Integrates With Trinigy's Vision Engine

German AI company Xaitment's AI technology, the XaitEngine, will be integrated with Trinigy's Vision Engine, the two companies announced today.

Released in June 2008, Vision Engine has also formed integration partnerships with NaturalMotion's Morpheme, Nvidia's PhysX and Pixelux's Digital Molecular Matter tech. The multiplatform Vision Engine 7 has been licensed by developers including Settlers developer Blue Byte for forthcoming titles, and Nitro Games for multiple titles.

As for the XaitEngine, it features a modular approach designed to enable developers to add both simulated behaviors and lower-level AI for game control, application logic and animation to their projects. The company says the engine's graphical interface is designed to be intuitive, removing the need to work with lines of code.

"More and more game developers are using external solutions for the implementation of pathfinding, behavior and especially for game logic and game AI," says Xaitment CEO Andreas Gerber. "The integration of our AI products into the Vision Engine is part of our strategy to offer the market an all-inclusive AI solution and marks another important step for our clients and company."

"We have received a lot of requests for the xaitEngine. I’m glad that we can now offer our clients a solid multi-platform connection which allows them to use the two technologies immediately."
