Nintendo Reveals Monado, Layton Sequel
Nintendo announced over a dozen new U.S.-bound first-party titles for Wii, WiiWare, DS, and DSiWare that weren't covered in its E3 press conference.

For Wii, the company revealed Monado: Beginning of the World, a new Monster Hunter-styled 3D RPG. It also unveiled Span Smasher, an action title with a pinball feel from Artoon (Yoshi's Island DS); Line Attack Heroes, a 3D fighting game from Grezzo Games; and Endless Ocean 2, a sequel to its underwater exploration game from Arika, due Q1 2010.

The platform holder's newly announced WiiWare titles include PictureBook Games: Pop-Up Pursuit, a board/card game; and You, Me & the Cubes, Kenji Eno's puzzler released as Kimi to Boku to Rittai in Japan.

On the DS side, Nintendo announced Level-5's Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box for August 24th, Red Entertainment's Fossil Fighters for August 10th, Paon's Glory of Heracles for 2010, and HAL Laboratory's Picross 3D.

Finally, for DSiWare, the publisher revealed five minigames for Japan's NHK TV mascot and Target's Halloween hero Domo -- Hard-Hat Domo, White-Water Domo, Pro-Putt Domo, Crash Course Domo, and Rock-n-Roll Domo.
