Activision says that 2nd map pack for Call of Duty: World At War saw one million downloads in its first week on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
The Treyarch-developed map pack contains four separate maps, including Bonsai, Corrosion, Sub Pens and Shi No Numa, and is priced at $9.99 on both download services.
World at War's first map pack passed the million-download milestone roughly within its first two weeks on the service, and Microsoft said at the time that it set a record for first-week downloads on Xbox Live.
In a recent call to investors, Activision said the first map pack has now sold around 2 million units, as publishing exec Mike Griffith spoke about the importance of DLC to the company's revenue strategy.
He said map packs and add-on DLC "insulates us from the used game market", and also allows retailers to hold higher pricing on the related games for longer.
