Columbia Pictures is doing a movie adaptation of Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, bringing Nathan Drake's story to the big screen.
The script's being written by Kyle Ward, who also penned the Hitman flick and the in-the-works Kane and Lynch film, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune sold 1 million copies in the first 10 weeks following its 2007 launch. Its semi-fantastical story follows Drake as he hunts the mythical treasure city of El Dorado, coping with rival hunters and evil mutants.
Naughty Dog unveiled a sequel to the game during Sony's E3 press conference, and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves ultimately earned the Game Critics' 'Best of E3' nod.
