Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Brutal Legend, Uncharted 2, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games to North America and the UK.

This week, Double Fine Productions delivers its Psychonauts follow-up Brutal Legend on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. PS3 owners will also receive the platform-exclusive action-adventure sequel Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, while the Nintendo Wii gets a remake of the NES classic A Boy and His Blob.

On portable platforms, Xseed offers up a localized version of the PSP puzzle-RPG Half-Minute Hero, as the Nintendo DS gets the ChunSoft-developed roguelike Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky and Sega's Olympic sports minigame compilation Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games.

Brutal Legend will also premiere in Europe this week, arriving alongside other anticipated releases like Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games and the DLC-bundled Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition.

Gamers in the UK will additionally get 5th Cell's Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter this week, along with a region-exclusive disc release for Wipeout HD.

5pb's visual novel Steins;Gate highlights this week's Xbox 360 offerings in Japan. This week will also bring the final PlayStation 2 installment in Konami's long-running beatmania IIDX series, while Wii owners get Ready at Dawn's Nintendo Wii port of Okami.

Japan's upcoming Nintendo DS lineup includes Banpresto's dating sim Kimi ni Todoke: Sodateru Omoi, the manga-based action title Shounen Sunday & Shounen Magazine White Comic, and the Peanuts-licensed pet sim Snoopy no Aiken DS: Chitte Okitai Inu no Koto - Inu no Nouryoku - Anata no Shitsuke.
