Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Borderlands and FIFA Soccer 10 to North America, while the UK and Japan get Forza Motorsport 3.

Gearbox's anticipated open-world shooter Borderlands joins EA's soccer sim franchise update FIFA Soccer 10 on multiple platforms in North America this week.

Rockstar's PSP port of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will also make its way to store shelves this week, arriving alongside Nintendo DS offerings like Space Invaders Extreme 2, Nostalgia, and Cooking Mama 3: Shop and Chop.

Turn 10's racing sim Forza Motorsport 3 will debut in Europe this week; a U.S. release is not scheduled until next week.

This week will also bring early UK releases for Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball: Raging Blast, the fable-themed brawler Fairytale Fights, Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2010, and Sony's camera-controlled pet simulation EyePet.

Forza Motorsport 3 will also get an early worldwide release in Japan this week, arriving alongside other console offerings like FIFA 10: World Class Soccer and Sukeban Shachou Rena Wii.

The PSP will host an expansion in Koei's Dynasty Warriors franchise this week with Shin Sangoku Musou 5 Special, while the Nintendo DS gets the Harvest Moon subseries sequel Rune Factory 3.
