NaturalMotion Opens New Korean Office

Animation tech company NaturalMotion has opened an office in Korea, appointing a territory manager there to reach out to the region's developers with its animation middleware.

The middleware developer appointed Mag KW Kim, an online gaming business development veteran, to the new position, where she'll act as "direct point of contact" for developers interested in evaluating NaturalMotion's Morpheme, Euphoria and Endorphin tools. She'll also support existing local clients.

"The Korean games industry has become a major player on the international scene," says NaturalMotion sales VP Andy Payne. "By establishing a local presence in Korea we can tailor our market approach to suit the Korean culture and language, strengthening our market position."

NaturalMotion has existing offices in Oxford, England and San Francisco. Its animation middleware is used in both the game and film industry, by companies including Rockstar Games, LucasArts, BioWare and numerous others.
