Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings James Cameron's Avatar and MX vs. ATV Reflex stateside, while Japan gets Sengoku Musou 3 and New Super Mario Bros Wii.

A game adaptation of the upcoming James Cameron film Avatar and Rainbow Studios' offroad racer MX vs. ATV Reflex headline multiplatform offerings in the United States this week.

Nintendo DS owners can expect to see the fantasy-themed puzzle-RPG Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes and the minigame compilation sequel 7 Wonders II.

Pandemic Studios' World War II action title The Saboteur gets an early release in Europe, arriving several days in advance of its scheduled U.S. premiere.

Gamers in the UK will also receive Activision's skateboard controller-bundled Tony Hawk: RIDE this week, along with the multiplatform movie trivia title Scene It? Bright Lights Big Screen.

The Nintendo Wii will host a number of notable releases in Japan this week, including Nintendo's multiplayer platformer New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the Pokemon adventure title PokePark Wii, and the Wii-exclusive Samurai Warriors sequel Sengoku Musou 3.

The PSP is set to receive Phantasy Star Portable 2 and a new entry in Konami's long-running Tokimeki Memorial series. Nintendo DS owners can look forward to Square Enix's action-RPG Cross Treasures, Namco Bandai's Monster Hunter-like Kaijuu Busters, and Sting's Yggdra Union spinoff Yggdra Unison: Seiken Buyuuden.
