With GDC 2016 on the horizon, organizers are excited to announce another great talk that will be taking place at the conference in March.

Epic Games director of user experience Celia Hodent will be taking the stage alongside Epic senior producer Heather Chandler to share the story of "How We Introduced UX to Epic Games' Production Pipeline."

It's a great session, part of the GDC 2016 Production track of talks, in which attendees will learn how to implement some of the critical techniques that helped Epic foster collaboration between its user experience team and development team.

Check it out for tips on organizing your player experience information, formulating plans to act on it, getting buy-in from your development teams and following up on execution to make sure you're making a game that integrates the best and most useful player research.

You'll also find lots of other great talks on the Production track at GDC 2016, including Kongregate chief Emily Greer's talk on "Effective Testing for Free-to-Play Games," Portalarium's Starr Long speaking about "Co-Development: Open and Agile Game Development" and Harmonix's own Nate Stoddard's talk about "Rocking On: Harmonix, QA and Rock Band 4."

And of course conference organizers look forward to announcing many more GDC 2016 sessions spanning a diverse array of game industry issues in the months ahead. For now, don't miss the opportunity to save money by registering for the conference early -- the deadline to register for passes at a discounted rate is Wednesday, February 3rd, 2016.

GDC 2016 itself will take place March 14-18th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. For more information on GDC 2016, visit the show's official website, or subscribe to regular updates via FacebookTwitter, or RSS.

Gamasutra and GDC are sibling organizations under parent UBM Tech.
