Newsbrief: Rise of the Tomb Raider game director Brian Horton has left Crystal Dynamics to join Call of Duty developer, Infinity Ward. 

The news was announced over on the official Tomb Raider Tumblr, while an update to Horton's Linkedin page confirmed the move, revealing he'll now be responsible for "the art direction and team management at Infinity Ward."

Horton was game director for just over 12 months, having taken the job after serving as the publisher's senior art director for six and a half years.

According to a Crystal Dynamics statment, Brian was an "integral" part of both the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot and last year's sequel.
