Release This:  The Saboteur, Zelda: Spirit Tracks  Debut Stateside

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, The Saboteur and Silent Hill: Shattered Memories to retailers in North America, while Japan gets Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Tales of Graces.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending December 12th, 2009.

Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass sequel Spirit Tracks will debut for the Nintendo DS in North America this week, arriving alongside Puzzler World and Salon Superstar.

The Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, and PSP will host a new entry in Konami's Silent Hill franchise, while Xbox 360, PS3 and PC owners can look forward to Pandemic Studios' World War II-based action-adventure title The Saboteur.

- Horrid Henry

Nintendo DS:
- Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel
- The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

PlayStation Portable:

- Colin McRae: DIRT 2
- Dark Fall: Lost Souls

The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is also set to arrive this week in the UK. The PSP will receive a port of Namco Bandai's one-on-one fighter Tekken 6, while Wii owners get the Europe-exclusive Horrid Henry.

Square Enix will publish a localized version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan this week. The Xbox 360 will also soon receive a new entry in SNK's long-running Samurai Shodown franchise.

The Nintendo Wii's Japanese lineup for this week includes Namco's Tales series sequel Tales of Graces and an updated version of the PS1-era fighter Toshinden. Luminous Arc 3 highlights the week's Nintendo DS offerings, as the PSP gets a sequel to Irem's strategy-RPG R-Type Command.
