Sony's Dille To Keynote At MI6

The upcoming game marketing-focused MI6 conference in San Francisco will feature a keynote from marketing and PlayStation Network VP Peter Dille, event organizers revealed today.
Dille will give a talk titled "Redefining the Digital Living Room," based on Sony's work with the PlayStation Network and its relationship to consumers' home and digital entertainment experience.
"Every company in the gaming space and beyond is jockeying for position, mind and market share – for the first time in history, it truly is anyone’s game," says MI6 president and CEO Jonathan Block-Verk.
The event will also include a keynote from OMD USA CEO Alan Cohen, who will discuss the ways the entertainment business is looking at media strategy from a standpoint aimed to offer constructive takeaways for game industry marketing professionals.
"The MI6 conference is a unique opportunity for game marketers to gain genuine insight and to understand how other top brands are approaching this landscape of fundamental change in the industry," says Block-Verk.
Organizers have themed the event "It's anybody's game," and say the theme is designed to reflect the impact gaming has had on the larger entertainment industry.
Other presenters confirmed for MI6 2010 include Ubisoft marketing SVP Tony Key, Contagious deputy editor Jess Greenwood, OMD's U.S. CEO Alan Cohen, and Digital Domain commercials division president Ed Ulbrich.
MI6 2010, the fifth annual incarnation of the event, will take place April 1 at San Francisco's Grand Hyatt hotel. More information about the conference and its sessions is available at its official website.
