Release This: U.S. Gets  God of War III , New  Pokemon  Titles

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings God of War III, Command & Conquer 4 and two new Pokemon games to North America, while Japan gets Ryu ga Gotoku 4.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending March 20th, 2010.

Sony's action-adventure sequel God of War III arrives on the PlayStation 3 this week. Xbox 360 owners can look forward to an upgraded XBLA port of Rare's Perfect Dark, while both platforms receive Tri-Ace's RPG Resonance of Fate and the Dragon Age: Origins expansion Awakening.

Remakes of Pokemon Gold and Pokemon Silver headline this week's DS lineup, while PC platforms are set to receive EA's Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight.

Europe gets an early look at Monumental Games' motorcycle racing sim MotoGP 09/10 this week -- the title is not set to hit U.S. shores until next week. Pokemon HeartGold and Pokemon SoulSilver are also prepared to make their UK debuts this week, arriving along with God of War III and Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening.

Sega's Yakuza series sequel Ryu ga Gotoku 4: Densetsu o Tsugumono will hit Japanese store shelves this week alongside Sony's God of War Collection. God of War III will premiere in Japan next week.

Konami's baseball sim Nettou! Powerful Koushien and Koei's visual novel Hakuouki DS stand out among this week's DS offerings, while PSP owners will get Gundam Assault Survive and a localization of EA's Dante's Inferno.
