AI Tool Dev Xaitment Expands Into Asian Market
Xaitment, developer of a range of artificial intelligence tools for games, has appointed a VP of sales for the Asian market and has partnered with Gamebase to coordinate the company's South Korean operations.

David Brame will take the reins as Asian sales VP for the Germany-headquartered middleware developer, on the back of his 33 years of sales experience with a particularly relevant specialty of game middleware sales in Asia. Brame will operate out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, reporting to Xaitment CEO Dr. Andreas Gerber and Markus Schneider, EVP of sales in the Americas and Asia.

"The experience of recent successes in Asia have already begun to pay dividends for Xaitment," said Brame in a statement, "with one order already booked in Asia and two of the most successful game development and publishing companies in all of Asia expected to close in March."

Seoul-based Gamebase will serve as the primary sales, marketing, and support entity for Xaitment's products in South Korea. The company has more than a decade of experience in publishing foreign games and software for its home market.

Gamebase CEO Yung Shin said the introduction of Xaitment's tools to the Korean market could help spur the country's development growth.

"There is great potential for Xaitment’s game tools in Korea," he said in a statement. "Game development studios are abundant and Xaitment is one of the only middleware providers that can give Korea the technology and support its customers need."
