Gamebryo Adds LiveMove 2 To Support PlayStation Move

Emergent Technologies said its Gamebryo LightSpeed development system will add AiLive's motion control solution LiveMove 2, which will support Sony's upcoming PlayStation Move motion controller.

Developers using both Gamebryo Lightspeed and AiLive can use the tools to also create games for the Nintendo Wii Remote and the more accurate Wii MotionPlus, which AiLive co-designed. LiveMove 2 is currently available for PS3 developers.

"With LiveMove 2, developers can now prototype motion controls in minutes without coding" said Ron Musick, VP of engineering at AiLive. LiveMove 2 utilizes machine learning technology that can "track and recognize any kind of human motion, simply by providing examples," the companies said in a press statement.

"The LightSpeed integration adds a lightning-fast rapid iteration workflow on both PlayStation3 and Wii," Musick added. "Motion controls can be immediately tested, modified and perfected without needing to restart the game. Developers get a fast prototyping solution right out of the box."

It's worth adding that LiveMove 2 is already available for PlayStation Move. Sony made it available for any registered PS3 developer here: https://ps3.scedev.net/projects/ailive

Sorry, I just laugh everytime I see a picture of the PSMove with the Sub Controller. Even down to the wrist strap, I still can't believe Sony is seriously following through with this.

Gamebryo? YES! That hopefully means that my #1 desire for the PS Move is coming true. Elder Scrolls 5 on the PS3 that supports the Move. Please let it be true. It can be done. Just let it be so. Motion control in the Elder Scrolls 5 would kick ass.

Thanks Rob, I've made that clarification!

Imagine the next installment of Kingdom Hearts for the Playstaion Move. Epicness.

I have to second Alan, shield + sword or archery from elder scrolls using Move would simply be amazing.
It would have to be dynamic movement however, and not canned animations generated by waggles.
