I/ITSEC Serious Games Showcase & Challenge Extends Submission Deadline

Organizers of the Fifth Annual I/ITSEC Serious Games Showcase & Challenge announced that the game submission deadline for this year's event has been extended to September 30th, giving developers two additional weeks to polish up their entries.

The Serious Games Showcase & Challenge offers students and independent developers a chance to show off their submitted training applications to an expected crowd of over 18,000 attendees at the upcoming Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Contest entries are accepted in three categories: Student, Business, and Government. Awards will be given to top contestants in each category, as chosen by a panel of serious games leaders in the military, industry, and academic fields.

Up to 12 finalist entries will be showcased at I/ITSEC 2010, to be held from November 29th through December 2nd. Contest guidelines, rules for entry, and submission forms can be found at the Serious Games Showcase and Challenge's official website.
