Top iPad Game Apps:  GTA: Chinatown Wars ,  Slice It!  Make Impressive Debuts

[Sister site FingerGaming rounds up the week's most popular paid and free iPad gaming applications on the App Store as of today, with Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD, Slice It! and Rollercoaster Extreme HD currently ranking among the platform's top downloads.]

This week's top paid titles are:

1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99)
2. Slice It! ($0.99)
3. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD ($9.99)
4. Pinball HD ($0.99)
5. Medieval HD ($2.99)
6. Fruit Ninja HD ($4.99)
7. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99)
8. Madden NFL 11 for iPad ($9.99)
9. The Settlers HD ($9.99)
10. Build-a-Lot 2: Town of the Year for iPad ($2.99)

The iPad version of Rockstar's sandbox-styled adventure title Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars manages to take third place in today's chart despite having been available for only a few hours.

Com2uS claims second place with its universal item-dividing puzzler Slice It!, while Clickgamer's Angry Birds HD remains seated at the top.

Gameprom's Pinball HD climbs up past Medieval HD and Fruit Ninja HD to finish at fourth, while Glu's Build-a-Lot 2 sneaks in at tenth place following a drop in price.

2. Art of Glow
3. Stair Dismount Universal
4. Fly Control HD
5. World Class Texas Hold 'Em Lite for iPad
6. Zentromino HD
7. ADJewels Shooter HD

10. Pac-Man Lite for iPad

Fishlabs' promotional app Rollercoaster Extreme HD leads as today's top free iPad game download after premiering at seventh place last week. Glow Hockey developer Natenai Ariyatrakool ranks in at second place with the universal drawing game Art of Glow, as Secret Exit's ragdoll injury sim Stair Dismount finishes third during a limited-time free download offer.

Real Solitaire Free for iPad and Pac-Man Lite for iPad maintain strong showings for the second week in a row, while newcomers ADJewels Shooter HD and Fly Fishing 3D HD challenge recent hits like Fly Control HD and Zentromino HD in today's rankings.
