Every week, sister iPhone and iPad site FingerGaming rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store, and this chart is now available on Gamasutra.

This week's U.S. revenue charts see Tap Zoo and Zombie Farm earning top iPhone sales, while Dead Space and Smurfs' Village remain big sellers on the iPad.

These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies.

Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings.

This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are:

1. Angry Birds ($0.99)
2. Tap Zoo (Free)
3. Dead Space ($6.99)
4. Zombie Farm (Free)
5. Call of Duty: Zombies ($4.99)
6. Zombie Cafe (Free)
7. Fruit Ninja ($0.99)
8. Smurfs' Village (Free)
9. Tiny Chef (Free)
10. Live Poker (Free)

A number of microtransaction-supported free games enter the iPhone's top-grossing sales chart this week, challenging previous sales leaders Angry Birds and Dead Space. Pocket Gems' Tap Zoo has proven especially popular, moving up to second place after taking third last week.

The undead-themed Zombie Farm and Zombie Cafe rival Activison's Call of Duty: Zombies this week, while Brooklyn Packet's free-to-play restaurant sim Tiny Chef makes its chart debut between Capcom's Smurfs' Village and Zynga's Live Poker at ninth place.

Here are this weeks top-grossing iPad applications:

1. Angry Birds HD ($4.99)
2. Dead Space for iPad ($9.99)
3. Smurfs' Village (Free)
4. Scrabble for iPad ($9.99)
5. We Rule Quests for iPad (Free)
6. Trade Nations (Free)
7. Fruit Ninja HD ($2.99)
8. Plants vs. Zombies HD ($6.99)
9. World of Goo ($4.99)
10. Bakery Story (Free)

Angry Birds HD and Dead Space lead iPad sales for the second week running, with Smurfs' Village and Scrabble for iPad trailing at third and fourth place.

World of Goo sees another drop in popularity after capturing the top chart spot last month, while Ngmoco's We Rule Quests and Amplified Games' Trade Nations overtake Fruit Ninja HD and Plants vs. Zombies HD with a steady stream of microtransaction revenue.
