Every week, Gamasutra rounds up the top-grossing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad applications, as current that day in the iTunes App Store. This week's U.S. revenue charts see Tiny Zoo and Smurfs' Village earning top iPhone sales, while Zombie Gunship and Cut the Rope: Experiments emerge as big sellers on the iPad.

These charts allow end users to see who is making the most money on the App Store that day. It differs significantly from the Top 10 Games chart, which is ranked by sales, and therefore is dominated by lower-priced titles that sell more copies.

Data comes courtesy of Apple's public sales information. All titles in the App Store's "Games" category are considered in chart rankings.

This week's top-grossing iPhone titles are:

1. Smurfs' Village (Free)
2. Tiny Zoo (Free)
3. Tap Pet Hotel (Free)
4. Zynga Poker (Free)
5. Texas Poker (Free)
6. Fashion Story (Free)
7. Cut the Rope: Experiments ($0.99)
8. Top Girl (Free)
9. Angry Birds ($0.99)
10. Bakery Story (Free)

TinyCo's Tiny Zoo moves up to second place in today's revenue chart following a recent update, challenging Capcom's reigning microtransaction sales leader Smurfs' Village.

Pocket Gems' Tap Pet Hotel and Zynga Poker also report increased sales this week, as ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope: Experiments debuts between Top Girl and Fashion Story at seventh place.

Here are this week’s top-grossing iPad applications:

1. Smurfs' Village (Free)
2. Tap Pet Hotel (Free)
3. Tiny Zoo (Free)
4. Tap Zoo (Free)
5. Angry Birds HD ($4.99)
6. Fashion Story (Free)
7. Cut the Rope: Experiments ($1.99)
8. Bakery Story (Free)
9. Zombie Gunship ($0.99)
10. Restaurant Story (Free)

Smurfs' Village and Tap Pet Hotel head the iPad's top-grossing charts for the second week in a row, while Tiny Zoo moves up to overtake Tap Zoo at third place.

Limbic Software's Zombie Gunship enters the chart at ninth place after a universal compatibility update, as Cut the Rope: Experiments trails longtime chart favorites Fashion Story and Angry Birds HD.
