Online monetization platform Live Gamer has revealed that it will be handling microtransactions and virtual goods in Petroglyph Games' upcoming multiplayer battler Rise of Immortals.

The free-to-play online title will feature integrated Live Gamer Elements, which will drive the game's virtual economy. Players will be able to set items at their own price points and sell them to other Rise of Immortals users.

The Live Gamer platform is set to provide the game with item storefronts, currency support, and virtual goods cataloguing managment.

Steve Wetherill, producer at Petroglyph Games, said, "Live Gamer's Elements technology allowed us to quickly develop micro-transaction inventory, catalog and price management systems for Rise of Immortals."

"Elements proved to be a great match for our requirements, enabling us to focus our development efforts on our game and at the same time shortening our time to market."

Last month, Live Gamer announced that it had acquired video game ad network gamerDNA Media and advertising platform BrandPort, and launched a new branch called Live Gamer Media from the pairing.
