Newsbrief: Nintendo has released a special channel for the Nintendo Wii that fixes a specific issue with save data in new release The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

If a player tackles a sequence of events in the game in a specific order, they will find themselves no longer able to proceed, and will need to go back to a previous save file to continue. Nintendo was made aware of the issue earlier this month, and promised to fix the bug as soon as possible.

A new channel, called The Legend of Zelda Data Restoration Channel, has now been released in Japan and fixes the problem for Skyward Sword players. Details regarding when the channel will appear for U.S. and European players have not yet been divulged.
