Newsbrief: The Asia Game Show, held in Hong Kong from December 23-26, attracted a record number of visitors this year, with over 472,000 entering the exhibition over the four day event.
According to the South China Morning Post, total sales during the event increased year-over-year by 7 percent to HK$28 million ($3.6 million). Sony Computer Entertainment, the show's largest exhibitor, saw a 12 percent increase in sales over last year, up to HK$26 million ($3.35 million).
The show also saw an increase in female visitors this year, with women making up 30 percent of visitors.
