Release This:  Resident Evil: Revelations  headlines UK lineup

Gamasutra's regular round-up of worldwide video game releases, "Release This!", takes a look at every game title we know to be shipping to stores this week, in a custom compiled list.

This week brings Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations to the UK, while Japan gets Armored Core V and Tales of Innocence R.

The following list covers all of the game software we know to be available -- across all platforms and regions -- for the week ending January 28th, 2012.

Games Released in the United States:

While North America's retail release schedule is slim in the first weeks of 2012, a handful of downloadable console titles will premiere this week, including Denki's XBLA word puzzler Quarrel, Neko Entertainment's puzzle-platformer Puddle, and a PlayStation 3 version of TikGames' Scarygirl.

EA's The Sims 3 expansion Master Suite Stuff headlines this week's PC lineup, meanwhile, as Nintendo is set to publish Renegade Kid's 3DSWare platformer Mutant Mudds.

- Quarrel (Xbox Live Arcade)

- Scarygirl (PlayStation Network)

Games Released in Europe:

Capcom's 3DS-exclusive survival horror title Resident Evil Revelations gets an early worldwide release in the UK this week, joining The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff and DTP Entertainment's multiplatform sports title Winter Sports 2012.

Nintendo Wii:

PC:
- The Sims 3: Master Suite Stuff

Games Released in Japan:

From Software's mech combat sequel Armored Core V debuts for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in Japan this week, while PS3 owners are also set to receive Namco Bandai's idol photography title The IdolM@ster: Gravure For You! Vol. 4.

BioHazard: Revelations heads up this week's 3DS offerings, as the PlayStation Vita hosts an upgraded version of Namco Bandai's 2007 Nintendo DS RPG Tales of Innocence.
