Newsbrief: Within its quarterly earnings report this Thursday, publisher Take-Two revealed that Rockstar's popular Red Dead franchise has sold 13 million units worldwide.

Just last September, Take-Two reported that franchise sales stood around 12.5 million units, indicating that the games are still seeing healthy momentum well after the successful Red Dead Redemption's May 2010 release.

These latest numbers include all versions of Red Dead Redemption, its standalone add-on disk Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, as well as the commonly forgotten PlayStation 2 and Xbox title Red Dead Revolver.

Red Dead Revolver was awesome... wish the series didn't change and become a GTA/Gun clone. Revolver had style and fun... Redemption turned to realism instead of fun.
