Newsbrief: Apple's 2011 iPhone Game of the Year, Nimblebit's Tiny Tower, has been downloaded over 10 million times for iOS devices, the development team has revealed.

Nimblebit's Ian Marsh tweeted, "To celebrate Tiny Tower reaching 10 million iOS downloads we're giving away over 10 million Tower Bux to players!" The company had already announced that its game is seeing more than one million unique players per day.

Tiny Tower was the subject of controversy last month, as Nimblebit accused social games giant Zynga of ripping off its popular tower building game, with Zynga's own Dream Heights game.
