RealNetworks Founder To Keynote Casuality

The Casual Games Association, organizers of the Causality Seattle conference, have announced that RealNetworks founder and CEO Rob Glaser is to deliver a keynote presentation at the event, to be held in downtown Seattle from June 27th.
In his keynote address, Glaser is expected to unveil the company’s latest plans for the RealArcade distribution platform, as well as advancing his own theories on key trends and opportunities in the casual gaming arena. Other program highlights are expected to include information on the development, production and design of casual gaming for PC and mobile.
“Over the last few years, casual gaming has exploded into the mainstream, attracting an audience never before predicted by the traditional core gaming industry,” Glaser said. “Industry innovation and market progression has driven casual games to become a major social phenomenon. Seattle is a world leader in this industry, and I look forward to engaging with the attendees at Casuality Seattle to discuss the latest developments from both a local and global perspective.”
The other previously announced keynote address for the conference is due to be given by Bing Gordon, co-founder and chief creative officer of Electronic Arts, drawing from the company’s experiences with leading online games sites Pogo.com and Club Pogo.
