Product: E-On Software Announces Vue 6

Graphics tool developer e-on software has announced the forthcoming release Vue 6, the latest version of the company's solution for creating natural 3D environments. Vue 6 Infinite will be previewed at the Siggraph Show in Boston, August 1-3, 2006.

Version 6 will include over 150 new features, including the new EcoSystem Generation II technology, which builds upon what was introduced in Vue 5. Also new in Vue 6 Infinite are the Spectral Atmosphere model and the MetaCloud technologies, which allow for the creation of realistic cloudscapes. The company indicated that it will publish a comprehensive list of new features and pricing information for the new version on its website later this summer.

Vue 6 xStream and Infinite will be available in English for Macintosh OS X and Windows 2000/XP, and will be released simultaneously as a 32 and 64 bit application. Each will be optimized for Power PC, Intel Macs and Windows XP64. Lastly, Vue 6 xStream and Infinite will be available either as node-locked or floating licenses.

Vue 6 Pro Studio, Esprit and Easel will be available in English, French, German and Japanese, for Macintosh OS X and Windows 2000/XP, and each will be released as 32 bit applications optimized for both Power PC and Intel Macs.
