CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE – 15 March 2012 – NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. today announced that  SOULCALIBUR™ V  will receive a worldwide free title update for PlayStation®3 and Xbox 360® on March 21, 2012.  The title update will contain new online ranked game search optimization, gameplay tweaks and character balance adjustments for the entire roster based on player feedback.

Worldwide Finals

NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. will be holding the SOULCALIBUR V Worldwide Finals on April 10, 2012 at the Cosmopolitan hotel and casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The tournament will bring together the best SOULCALIBUR V players from around the world to compete for a cash prize pool of $10,000.00. 

Regional Grand Finals

To earn a place in the Las Vegas Worldwide Finals, the best players from Europe, Russia, Australia, Taiwan and Singapore will battle it out in the SOULCALIBUR IMPACT 2012 Grand Finals taking place this Saturday March 17 at the magnificent St Stephen's, Rosslyn Hill in London, UK. Competitors at the event will not only be covered in glory – they will also be showered with gifts from event partners including MadCatz and Insert Coin Clothing. The winner on the day will leave with a cheque for £1,000 and a unique trophy: an authentic Soul Edge sword replica especially forged for the occasion. Two winners will also be flying to Las Vegas to compete in the Worldwide Finals in April.

The UK winner will be decided on the day itself prior to the Grand Finals.
