Munich, Germany- 8
th November 2012: UIG Entertainment have today
released
Into The Dark, a first person adventure for PC, on
digital download portals. The game will be available in UK stores
early Q1 2013.
Developed by Indie Austrian studio HomeGrown Games,
Into The Dark follows Pete O’Brannon, a
jaded private investigator who uses dubious methods to obtain
information for the largest insurance company on America’s
East Coast. His latest case leads him to an isolated New England
cabin where he encounters much more than he bargained for. Now Pete
must find a way to escape the madness.
Since winning Gamerfeed’s “Scariest Game
Contest” in 2011 with a one-level demo,
Into The Dark has received a number of media
accolades during its development. Named one of the “Top 10
Upcoming Games” by IndieDB and “Most Surprising Game of
the Show” at Gamescom 2012 by several publications,
Into The Dark is a rich mix of B-movie styling,
tongue-in-cheek humour and atmospheric game environment.
Into The Dark combines puzzle, adventure, first
person shooter and RPG elements with a visible
“basement” development approach for an exciting gaming
experience.
Into The Dark is now available on digital download
portals for the RRP £24.99 and will release in UK stores Q1
2013.
