London, UK - 15 November 2012 -  Independent game developer Eiconic Games is proud to announce the launch of Total Recoil for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Total Recoil is a top-down arcade shooter that packs an armour-piercing punch, where subtlety is NOT an option and where BIG guns, HUGE bosses and MEGA explosions rule the day.

Total Recoil starts each player off as a lowly enlisted Private. They then work their way up through the ranks by blasting through wave after wave of gun-toting grunts, turrets, gunships, mega-tanks, mines and more. Along the way, players can arm themselves with a huge array of weapons as well as raining down death and destruction upon their enemies by earning ‘Killstreaks’ - including artillery strikes, aircraft strafing runs, sentry guns and smart bombs. Particularly impressive feats of destruction earn the player ‘bucks’ which they can then use to upgrade their character’s key attributes, unlock new items, and also boost the destructive power of their weapons and killstreaks.

There are only two rules in Total Recoil - Rule One: Shoot everything that moves. Rule Two: Shoot everything that doesn't.
