Stockholm, Sweden - 15 November, 2012 /GameBlast/
- Donya™ Labs, creators of Simplygon, and the
leading provider of automatic 3D-optimization solutions for the
video-game industry, today announced a new licensing agreement with
US game publisher Meteor Entertainment and development studio
Adhesive Games. Simplygon's powerful 3D-optimization features have
been integrated into the art pipeline to automatically optimize the
3D assets in the upcoming
HAWKEN PC game.
HAWKEN is a free-to-play multiplayer mech combat game,
launching on 12.12.12. It is created by Adhesive Games using
the Unreal Engine and published by Meteor Entertainment. The game
will create an intense and enjoyable battle experience that
captures the feeling of piloting a heavy war machine while keeping
the action fast-paced and strategic.
HAWKEN brings the feel and look of a "AAA" title to the
free-to-play sector.
HAWKEN is being called one of the most anticipated games
of 2012, receiving tons of media buzz, and is a winner of over 20
awards since April 2012. For more information, visit out

When setting out to create a visually stunning entertainment
experience such as the
HAWKEN PC game, Adhesive Games realized the importance of
not bogging down artists with tedious tasks such as cleaning up and
re-creating art assets, but to instead focus their time and
creativity on making sure the game looks great.
"With
HAWKEN, we emphasized creating a distinct visual style for
our levels, and now we are working to get them to run as quickly as
possible," stated Jon Kreuzer, Technical Director and Co-Founder of
Adhesives Games. "Using Simplygon to create LODs and massive LODs
at the click of a button has greatly streamlined our level
optimization process."
Simplygon's sure-fire way of automatically providing developers
with this data necessary with little or no manual work is an
important key to creating an efficient 3D-content pipeline in game
development. For more information on Simplygon please go to
