[This unedited press release is made available courtesy of Gamasutra and its partnership with notable game PR-related resource GamesPress.]

Ljubljana, Slovenia, November 28th, 2012 - Dawn of Play would like to honestly thank the pirates for ripping off Dream of Pixels and distributing it so widely. It is obviously an enjoyable game, so much even that it seems to have gone a bit viral.

Seriously, all of the players getting the pirated game for FREE must contribute to the sales numbers. Dawn of Play is also proud of the high retention rates, so this pirate-retention combo is bound to be contributing substantially to the numbers in the sales reports.

So thank you, dear pirates of the Dream of Pixels sea - this one goes out for you!

If you do not want a pirated copy, but would still like to try Dream of Pixels for FREE, you are most welcome to play the Alpha Prototype version we published on Kongregate:

If you do not own an iPhone or iPad, but still want to show the support and thus speed up the development of the game for other platforms (Android, PC..), you are most welcome to create an Apple ID for free here:

then download iTunes here:

then install iTunes, open it, and search for "Dream of Pixels" to buy a copy of the game. Dawn of Play will be eternally grateful.
