MELBOURNE, Australia, December 3rd 2012

On December 3rd, 2012, Tasty Fish, the frantic fish flocking survival-arcade game by Dime Studios, received a major content update, and to celebrate is going free for a brief leadup to the holiday season.

Version 1.1.0 marks the introduction of 3 new Exotic Fish for players to add to their schools, and 3 new Life Preservers for players to use during gameplay.

The new Fish provide more aggressive options, allowing players to scare away Sharks with Blimp (Pufferfish), destroy Fishing Nets with Nibbles (Piranha), and disperse grumpy Crabs with Sparkles (Rainbowfish).

The new Preservers also give players unique ways of surviving longer, with the Starfish Shield guaranteeing safety from 3 attacks, the Pearl instantly recharging Exotic Fish abilities, and the Squid Inkstream offering a dark cloud to hide in.

The update compliments the content with relevant achievements for players to work towards, and a redesign of the user interface to be more intuitive and clear.

Players with the Exotic Fish Tank will have instant access to the new Exotic Fish, and be able to experiment with combinations immediately.

To celebrate this update Tasty Fish is available for free on iTunes and the App Store until the 10th of December 2012.
