NEW YORK — December 3, 2012 — Paradox
Interactive today resigned itself to repeated humiliating defeats
in their own upcoming theme park hack ‘n’ slash title,
Dungeonland. In a live streaming event occurring tomorrow,
December 4, at 7pm GMT / 11am PST, three Paradox representatives
will take on a fourth in
Dungeonland’s friendship-testing three-on-one
gameplay. The stream will feature the Dungeonlanding skills of
three of Paradox’s finest adventure-seekers, as well as
In-House Wizard and Accounting Supervisor “Yellow” from
hit Paradox game
Magicka. With Yellow as the group’s merciless
Dungeon-Master, you can watch the Paradox trio of minions struggle
to survive on their official Twitch TV channel, at
http://www.twitch.tv/paradoxinteractive.
In addition to the live stream, viewers will get a chance to
chat with
Dungeonland developers Critical Studios, who will be
participating in an AMA on Reddit following the stream. The chat
will start on Tuesday, December 4, at 8pm GMT / 12 Noon PST here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA.
Once the stream has convinced you that you can do a much better
job handling
Dungeonland, you can sign up to do exactly that in the
game’s upcoming beta, which begins this Wednesday, December
5. Players can still sign up for the beta until then, but anyone
who misses their chance will be taunted by repeated use of
Dungeonland’s “evil laugh” button. To
sign up for the
Dungeonland beta, visit the beta sign up page at
http://beta.dungeonlandgame.com.
Paradox Interactive is asking the community to create a
Dungeonland tagline for them. The competition is now live
on the Paradox forum, see if you have the knack to make an
evil-filled slogan here:
